WHAT IS QUANTITATIVE FACE FIT TESTING?
Quantitative Face Fit Testing is a scientific way to check how well a respirator seals against the skin for each individual wearer. We use an ambient particle counter to measure the particulates in the ambient air against any particles that are leaking in through the seal of the respirator. The results, called “Fit Factors,” show how effectively the mask protects the wearer from harmful airborne particles and workplace hazards. HOW THE AMBIENT PARTICLE COUNTER WORKS
An ambient particle counter counts the tiny particles in the ambient air and compares them with any particles that pass through the mask’s seal to the skin. This method produces accurate, real-time results, showing exactly how well the respirator is providing a seal to the wearer's skin, or not. It’s the most reliable and scientific way to confirm your respirator is sealing effectively to your skin, providing you with the level of safety that you require when working with hazardous substances, and keeping you safe from respiratory illnesses at work.
TESTING DIFFERENT TYPES OF RESPIRATORS

We ask that you bring all head-worn PPE, such as safety goggles, ear defenders, or hard hats, to ensure accurate results and proper compatibility during testing.
